The year 2021 has witnessed Grandall's leading position in IPO practice area, continuously leading the capital markets legal service industry. According to the statistics of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Beijing Stock Exchange, there were a total of 522 companies which completed their initial public offerings and listings in 2021; among them, 75 were served by Grandall as issuer legal advisor, representing 14.4% of the total, ranking first among law firms. Meanwhile, among the 443 companies which were approved for their initial public offerings in 2021, a total of 54, or 12.2%, were served by Grandall as issuer legal advisor, ranking first among law firms.
On 1 December 2021, the application for IPO and listing on ChiNext Market filed by Xiamen Voke Mold & Plastic Engineering Co., Ltd. (“Voke”) was registered at CSRC and approved by the Listing Committee of ChiNext Market on 15 July 2021. Grandall Shanghai Office has been retained as the legal counsel for this IPO project with SUN Li and QIAO Yinqiang as key lawyers serving the case.
On 19 October 2021, Tianjin T.B Infrastructure Co., Ltd. issued corporate bonds (Phase I) to eligible investors, marking the first state-owned real estate enterprise in Tianjin that has been approved to issue corporate bonds in 2021.
On 17 November 2021, Guotai Epoint Co., Ltd. (688232.SH., “Epoint”) successfully listed on the STAR Market of Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company intended to raise RMB 4,000,400,000 in this offering, marking the largest A-share IPO in Suzhou and the largest IPO project listed on the STAR Market in Jiangsu Province to date. Shenzhen Tencent Information Technology Co., Ltd. and other cornerstone investors participated in the strategic placement of the IPO.
On 11 November 2021, Zhejiang Oceanking Development Co., Ltd. (603213.SH, “Zhenyang Development”) successfully listed on the Main Board of Shanghai Stock Exchange, marking the first enterprise in Zhejiang Transportation Group to complete the mixed-ownership reform, share reform and listing after the current round of state-owned enterprise mixed-ownership reform has been launched.
Beijing Stock Exchange started trading on 15 November 2021, with the first batch of 81 companies debuting on the stock exchange, including 10 companies that directly listed thereon after completing corresponding procedures and 71 that have been transferred from the selected tier of the New Third Board; among which, ten were advised by Grandall in their respective listing projects, accounting for 12.3%, ranking first among law firms.
On 19 October 2021, Qingdao Central Sub-Branch of the People's Bank of China (the “Bank”) held a ceremony to issue the appointment letter for external legal counsel. Grandall Qingdao Office has been retained as the external perennial legal counsel with partners PENG Shanling and XIE Yang and associate CHEN Hao as key lawyers serving the case.
On 28 September 2021, the application filed by Henan Tongxin Transmission Co., Ltd. (“Tongxin Transmission”) for public issuance of shares to non-specific qualified investors and listing on select tier was reviewed and passed by the Listing Committee of National Equities Exchange and Quotations Co., Ltd., and was further approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission on 8 October 2021. Grandall Tianjin Office acted as the issuer's legal counsel.
On 29 September 2021, Tibet Duo Rui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (301075. SZ, “Tibet Duorui”) was successfully listed on the ChiNext Market of Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Grandall shanghai acted as the issuer's legal counsel.
After careful investigation, Bank of Luoyang has formally signed the Retainer Agreement with Grandall, engaging Grandall Zhengzhou Office as its perennial legal counsel in 2021.
On 14 September 2021, Shanghai Ailu Packaging Co., Ltd. (“Shanghai Ailu”, 301062.SZ) successfully listed on the SZSE ChiNext Market. Grandall acted as the legal counsel for the case.
