On 9 June 2022, the 2nd Forum on Rule of Law of Hainan Free Trade Port, co-hosted by China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD) and Grandall Law Firm, was held in Haikou, Hainan Province.

Hu Guanghui (Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Hainan Provincial People's Congress), Chi Fulin, (President of the CIRD and Director of the Institute of Free Trade Port with Chinese Characteristics), Wang Ping (member of the Party Group and Vice President of Hainan Provincial High People's Court), and Lv Hongbing (Chief Executive Partner of Grandall Law Firm) attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches thereon. A number of well-known experts and scholars, professors from universities, researchers from academic research institutions, and senior lawyers participated in the topic discussion and shared their ideas regarding the construction of rule of law protection system of Hainan Free Trade Port.
