On 30 July 2013, a ceremony co-hosted by the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee (UFWD), Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) was held in Beijing for awards-giving to the member of the 1st Lawyers Service Team and start-up of the 2nd Lawyers Service Team. Leaders from relevant departments including Mr. Chen Xiqing, deputy minister of UFWD, Mr. Wang Yongqing, director of the Sixth Bureau of UFWD, Mr. Zhao Dacheng, vice minister of MOJ, head of the Lawyers’ Notarization Department and president of ACLA attended the ceremony. Mr. Shijie, from Grandall Sichuan Office, was awarded as “Excellent Member of Lawyers’ Service Team”.

The activity was initially launched in May 2011 with the involvement of 48 lawyers from 46 law firms around the nation. These lawyers had rendered free legal services to 47 backward counties in the midwest regions, making great contributions to local economic development and social stability.
