Grandall Won China Business Law Awards

China Business Law Journal released winners of “China Law Business Awards 2014” in its second issue for 2015. With remarkable achievements and outstanding performance in the relevant practice areas, Grandall Law Firm (“Grandall”) won “China Law Business Awards 2014” in the following three areas: Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, and Energy, Projects & Infrastructure. Meanwhile, Giant Interactive’s take-private transaction (US$3 billion), advised by Mr. Charles Guan, Ms. Cherry Pang and Ms. Diming Li from Grandall Shanghai Office, made it to the honor roll of “2014 Deal of the Year”.

China Business Law Awards are intended to find and acknowledge the best PRC and international law firms in various practice areas. Hundreds of in-house counsels, corporate executives and law firms from home and abroad were invited to participate in the survey conducted by China Business Law Journal.  in-house counsels, out questionnaires to solicit candidate recommendation and opinions from in-house counsels, corporate executives and law firms from home and abroad, while upholding the principle of equity and objectivity. Upon solicitation for candidate recommendation and statistics thereof, the list of winners was finalized by considering several factors, including candidates’ highlighted deals, cases and other achievements. All winners of the award were selected from candidates recommended by clients and other firms, and the trustworthiness of the selection results could be assured.

The “Deal of the Year” was another award presented by China Business Law Journal as per the principle of equity and objectivity and represented the most iconic deal of the year.
