The competition was hosted by Grandall Law Firm and co-organized by Grandall Research Institute and Grandall Young Lawyers Working Committee. Grandall Tianjin Office was the organizer of the final competition while LexisNexis, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Tianjin Branch, Tianjin Equity Investment Fund Association and Tianjin Internet Association provided full support to the final competition as the co-organizers.

Nearly 300 lawyers from 25 Grandall offices and 3 business committees responded to the competition and submitted 66 original legal service products, 19 of which were finally selected as finalists.

Sun Youhai (dean of Tianjin University School of Law), Wang Hong, (deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Justice), Wang Caihua (vice president of All China Lawyers Association and President of Tianjin Lawyers Association), Li Chun (founding and managing partner of Grandall Law Firm and director of Grandall Research Institute) attended the competition and delivered opening remarks. The competition specially invited Yang Chuansheng (member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Tianjin Municipal Government), Wang Zhong (visiting professor of Peking University Law School), Niu Tongxu (vice president of Tianjin Bar Association, senior partner and director of the management committee of Tianjin Jinnuo Law Firm), Xu Fang (product and content director of LexisNexis China), Yin Shijiang (founder of "Touhang Xiaobing”, a Wechat Official account, and former director of investment banking department of GF Securities), Bai Min Zhou Shihong (executive partners of Grandall) served as the judge for the final competition, respectively.
