Chongqing Liangjiang Commercial Mediation Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") has been officially established.  Grandall Chongqing Office became the first batch of mediation offices set up by the Center with Mr. XIONG Zhao, partner of Grandall Chongqing hired as the first batch of mediators.

The Center, governed by Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Justice, is the first commercial mediation center in China initiated and established by provincial lawyers association.  It was established and registered with Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs in April 2020.  As an independent agency, the Center provides professional mediation, consulting and training services for the parties to resolve commercial disputes.

The Center set up its mediation offices in 10 law firms, including Grandall Chongqing Office, and selected 35 members, covering experts in civil and commercial law from universities, renown lawyers, retired civil and commercial judges, as its first batch mediators.  XIONG Zhao, partner of Grandall Chongqing, was selected as one of the first batch of mediators in the civil and commercial field for a term of four years.
