After years of association, the merger of F. Zimmern & Co. into Grandall Law Firm (Hong Kong) completed on 1 March 2022, and the Chinese name of F. Zimmern & Co. or “施文律师行” was changed to “k8凯发天生赢家·一触即发律师（香港）事务所” and English name to “GRANDALL ZIMMERN LAW FIRM” with the approval of the Law Society of Hong Kong.

As founded in 1935, F. Zimmern & Co. is one of the few law firms that enjoyed a reputation in Hong Kong before the WWII. With the recovery of economy after the WWII and the development of real estate business, the firm was one of the pioneers in engaging "strata" title property project developments throughout Hong Kong. As Hong Kong evolved into an international trade and financial center, F. Zimmern & Co. kept pace with the times and assisted clients in listing on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (now known as "HKEx") and the Growth Enterprise Market (now known as "GEM"), as well as providing legal services in the areas of bank lending and corporate financing.

The partners of F. Zimmern & Co. have been actively involved in the work of the Law Society of Hong Kong for a long time. In addition to providing professional legal services to the clients, they have held important positions in the society, government agencies, and other professional and business groups. Senior partner Roderick Bun Woo, JP has acted as President of the Law society of Hong Kong for three terms from 1993 to 1996, and Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data from 2005 to 2010, and was inducted to the Roll of Honor of Law Society in 2014, highlighting his contribution to the development of the legal profession in Hong Kong. Managing Partner Ambrose S.K. Lam, JP was honored Justice of the Peace by HKSAR government and acted as President of the Law society of Hong Kong for the term of 2013 to 2014. In late 2021, Mr. Lam was elected as a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

After the successful merger, Grandall Hong Kong will further strengthen and optimize its legal team to provide convenient and high-quality cross-border legal services to Chinese and foreign clients, with the main scope of business including corporate finance and business services, real estate, civil and criminal litigation and dispute resolution, as well as comprehensive legal services such as intellectual property, estate administration, wills and inheritance, administrative law, family law, bankruptcy and winding up, and notary public. Currently, Grandall Hong Kong has a team of over 60 lawyers, many of whom are qualified to practice in multiple jurisdictions and have received professional education and training in many countries and regions, such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Singapor. They have diverse professional skills and cultural backgrounds as well, and most of them are bilingual or trilingual and have extensive experience in working with leading international law firms around the world.
